For some reason HP has given up on home photo printing and one printer fits all.sometimes adequately. ![]() A lot of HPs and Brothers have the printhead in the cartridge, so every time you replace the cartridge you get a new printhead. The other problem with Canon is, if you don't use them the print head can dry up, and then you buy another one, usually for the cost of a new printer. Thankfully they have not turned their backs on us yet. HP has a utility for Linux that just works. Not a surprise being an old printer.ĭepends on the purpose. ![]() It's also been years since I bought ink cartridges.Īs for Linux drivers, it's detected automatically. It's been years since I bought my Canon Pixma MX330. Rick gen wrote:If I have to buy another printer, I would pick the one that provides long lasting ink.
